My latest walk through Fontainebleau

Nice pics! Interesting to see all that wildlife, don't get so much round here!

Squirrels,
Bats,
Hedgehogs,
Foxes,
Badgers,
Weasels,
Stoats,
Deer,
Voles,
Field mice.

I lived on your doorstep and saw all the above on a regular basis, you have some great wildlife in the UK, you just have to get out real early to catch most of it !;)

Amazing - 2 snakes on the same walk! And I thought Africa was wild and scary! Nice pics - thanks for sharing your walk.

Oh, I usually see a few more. It has just started warming up here and they have just started crawling around.

Yeah, squirrels I see so often I don't think of them as wildlife, lol. You missed out rabbits, I see those a lot in the country.
I don't think I've ever seen a weasel or a stoat.
Snakes are pretty rare, I saw a grass snake in the Lake District when I was young, it was sunbathing on the track.
There are lots of foxes in the city but you don't actually see them that often, they come out at night.

My little neck of the woods here in western NY is over run with bunny rabbits usually when you find patches of bunny fur like that and no blood to indicate a kill, it means your close to a bunny nest. the moma bunnys pull out patches of there fur like that, to line the nest just befor they give birth, nice find.

Agreed. I find those in my garage that I rarely go into. I always find bunnies in there under my car that I am rebuilding. (when I get the chance anyways).

Nice pics, i kayak bayou cane quite often and see deer smimming every now and then. I start seeing gators once you start getting close to the lake, maybe we can hook up one day and do a hike and some paddling, i have extra kayaks and would love to get some closeup pics of those hogs

Know any other good trails within 100 miles of New Orleans?

That's good to know, I didn't realise that but where I was is over run by rabbits so that makes sense !!!

Man, if I go for a walk I see birds, maybe bugs too, no snacks, pigs, turtle or deer. No gators either.
