Just my two cents on Lightroom and Photoshop. I have both, but depending on what I need to do determines which one I use. LR is great for quick jobs where minor adjustments and cropping are needed. It is also great for proccessing lots of pictures because you can import multiple pictures at once. Then when you are all done tweaking the entire set you can export either at once or one at a time. The other great thing is that you can close LR and reopen it later and your project is still there with the changes you already made. Photoshop on the other hand is the tool I use when there is a lot that needs to be done to fix or modify a picture. PS is much more robust in terms of what you can do to a picture than LR is but that is ok because each serves a different purpose.
