Well, here it is:

I made a deal with the wife and she agreed to let me get a custom made knife for my birthday. :thumbup:

The problem is, my birthday isn't until next weekend and she is making me wait till then to open it. :thumbdn:

Here's the specs:
6" blade
5/32" O1 steel
cocobolo custom shaped handle
3 hollow stainless pins
1/4" extended tang

I told Bryan I received it the other day and was able to squeeze the package, just getting a slight whiff of fine steel and cocobolo. :D

7 days and counting. :grumpy:
I think I may lose my mind before next Sunday!!!

I honestly feel really bad for you!

Sneek down about 3am, slit the bottom edge and remove it...put one of your old knives in the box!

Look surprised and happy when you open the box on B-Day! :)

i have a very similar issue. my birthday (also on the 25) is coming up, and i got myself a few leather things from mtnfolk mike (quiver, armguard and leather pouch). they shipped yesterday, so they might get here around wednesday or thursday, and i am not letting myself open the package until the 25th. it is going to be hard.

but mike said he will post some pics to hold me over until the 25th.
 
Yeah, mike told me about your stuff. You are in for a treat. Mikes the man with archery tackle.

You shouldve had him fill that quiver with arrows too. I have a dozen from him, and they are freakin awesome....

i will be getting some arrows from him at some point, but since i cant afford to work much with taking some college classes in addition to my regular highschool classes, i was a little low on spending money. but someday, someday..... :)
 
Happy Birthday to you guys. Mine is in march but I don't look forward to them anymore, They come to fast.:rolleyes:

I got my wires crossed on the Breedens, It's the Path Finder that I gotta get first. Need a fixed blade with a handle to match my new orange KOA Folder.

Yeah, Bryan, don't post em....that would make it worse for me!!!!! Ha, ha!

The sad thing is, I think I may have made the waiting period part of the deal, thinking it would help her say yes to the knife in the first place! :foot:
