My New Breeden Peace Maker

Yea longbow, that handle shape you wanted on your knife just feels so awesome. The cocobolo wood is so cool looking on Jon's knife. I like the osage to but the cocobolo is right up there for the cool look LOL. I have been thinking about putting a spy capsule in the handle of one like yours longbow for my next knife that I make with one in it. I might just call that knife the RUCK SPY LOL

Well I guess we will find out Saturday for Jon to open up his package and see his knife . Wiat that is in a few hours.
Farnsrocket?????? LOL are you going to open it up at midnight ?

Bryan

Damn I thought it was Saturday, Sorry Jon, So are you going to open it at midnight or in the morning or afternoon?

Bryan

This is a great knife! It's big, but not too big. I think I can do it all with this one! I love the thickness at 5/32"....I was thinking about doing 3/16 or even 1/4" but am so glad I stuck with this, it's just right. The extended tang is exactly how I envisioned it and will be great for hitting and pounding stuff without hurting the handle. It balances so nicely in my hand too.....doesn't feel awkward at all! I really really like how dark the wood is.......very cool! I can choke right up to the blade but still have a nice hold without fear of slipping........man this thing just feel great in my hand! Oh, and it is hair shaving sharp!!!
Bryan, you seriously did a fantastic job!!!!!! Now it's time to make a sheath!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY :D:D
WOW Jon, I am so glad you like your knife. The pics look great. I really liked the balancing one you did. Yea the cocobolo wood is so cool and just a dark rich color. A 6" blade length is just awesome to. That exstended tang your wanted really turned out nice to I thought. I just finished another knife up last night with an exstended tang kinda like yours. I hope he likes his to he is comming here today:eek: to get his knife and hatchet::thumbup::D
I can hardly wait to see your sheath that you make up. Are you glad you waited till your Birthday to open your package?

Bryan

Happy Birthday and congratulations. Bryan makes a helluva nice knife.

Thanks guys and bump for the new pics!

PS Hey Bryan, I just noticed that you slightly dropped the first 2 1/2" of the tip a little below the top of the blade line.....really cool!

Glad you like the tip drop. I really like it to.
So how is the Birthday boy doing. Eat and cake and Ice cream yet?

Bryan

Yeah, it's cool......I wasn't sure if it went straight across and almost asked you in the beginning to drop it a little!! LOL!

Got some steaks marinating, waiting to go on the grill along with some asparagus and baked potatoes in the oven.

Also have some brownies cooling on the stove!!

Congrats - looks like a great knife and I think I remember Bryan telling me it was his first kick-at-the-cocobola can. I think he did a peachy job on that handle! Looks great and put that thing to some hard use!
