Shed made of Juniper??? You lucky man  I heard of somebody who had a sauna made of Juniper, cost an absolute fortune and didn't last so many years but the aroma factor was intoxicating apparently.

As for your Pistacchio Lag, try chewing it, might be like the tasty nut :D It does look nice and stripey though, the French are very adventurous with woods, saw a knife handled in Broom- and I thought it was just a straggly shrub. Briar is another attractive handle.

Thanks, Will

No Will, the shed isn't made of juniper wood. All of the firewood in the shed is juniper. Very nice smell - very similar to cedar.

Firewood of Juniper, does the smoke smell like the wood???

Modoc ED Modoc ED That's even better Ed  Must be excellent and I'd like a few logs of that! Got a Juniper in the garden but it's very healthy and they live a lot longer than most humans...

Cedar and Sandlewood are aromatics but don't know about their handle potential.

Very nice lines and yes it can be hit or miss when it comes to the detail of the wood.
