My New Favorite Necker: The Gossman PSK JR.

It is the same size as the regular PSK only 3/4" wide. Kev, asked for 3/32" thickness which is what that one is.

Thanks Brian! I'm good to go on the fisherman's knot as it is one of my everyday knots...it is the decorative Diamond Knot I was unfamilar with...you know the "foo foo" knots are the ones I haven't bothered to learn...but that knot was really interesting and so I wanted to learn how to tie it.

Scott, why is 154cm the only stainless you work with if I may ask? I like the steel myself, and wonder what are the differences between it and A2, 01, 06? I like the design as it puts the choil in the handle, which on a shorter knife makes it functional and still allows for blade edge, nice job. I hope you bring a bucketful in all the steels up in April!

I like the 3/4" wide blade and in 3/32" no less! I hope you bring some of these up Scott! Or else I'll have to drive down, hop the ferry, and walk over to your place and fetch one! Don't make me do that! I think the understated knives are overlooked by too many folks, of course not us here in WSS!

tracker, probably 99% of my customers want carbon steel with A2 and O1 as the two top steels I use. O1 is number 1. I work with 8 different steels. Every so often I get a request for stainless. Since 154CM is my favorite stainless, that's the one I use. Also it's a stainless tool steel.
