i talk to him over the phone few days back and from the sound of it he been great :)

just in a few days i already know a few more Knife maker in Thailand and had talk to a few already . so exciting

hope to meet the man soon
 
I noticed you still aren't incorporated thong hole tubing, do you not have access to it, or maybe just not like using it?

I'll follow you guys. The tube is arriving by tomorow for 6 meters length so I can use it for years :p

I checked out the links to your shop photos that Phil posted. Very nice setup. There is enough machinery there to keep any grinding fanatic busy for a long time!

I really like the idea of using a surface grinder. Until now, I was thinking that a horizontal platen on a standard grinder or some other type of horizontal four or six inch grinder would be fine for doing the flats, but after seeing you surface grinder I have a whole new perspective. Very cool!:thumbup:

I design and fabricated this machine with one of my coleagues.
All are built from the parts from the junks. They copme from assenbly parts of Japanese automation equipment that'd beed sisassemblied.

I am a very lazy knife maker and with this one I can have our none skill worker in the shop to do ground work for me as any one wiothout experience can do preparation of blank steel .
