Congrats! New sons are a lot of fun, mine is 6 months old. Wait till he starts to smile and laugh, it gets so much better. Enjoy, they are only that small for such a short time and it is magical! Steven

Heh, don't forget the poopy diapers. :) You gotta change as many as your wife does. And feeding, bathing etc. It all goes into being a good Dad.

Congratulations!!!

How long 'til you start making the karambit mobile to hang above his crib? (Trainer blades for the first 18 months of course)

Beautiful face! Get him up and running around now!
I guess he's too young to bring to ECCKS? :D

We're tryin'. I probably won't bring him to the show, but possibly. My work schedule is hectic now and I might have to wait a lil' while befoe the nerves I have over his health and well being calm down a bit...LOL

I get SUPER protective of him when too many people are around. We took him to the Doc the other day via the Subway and it put me in the mood to strangle everyone I saw...LOL

Too many people coughing, sneazing and one woman barfing!

Definately next year!

Congrats Rich! Now you' ll really know what no sleep is about! But you' ll love every moment!

What handsome baby he is!! I am so happy for you. I also can understand that traveling on the subway with the little guy would put you in the mood to strangle folks.

Congratulations! Becoming a dad was the one of the hardest decisions I ever made and the best one I ever made. Take part in everything, you'll be glad you did.

Announcing the arrival on December 27 at 10:23 AM of My Son. Zen Antonio Derespina. Born 7 Lbs, 21" long and HEALTHY!

My first born and probably not my last BUT, an asbolutely life changing experience. Downright Spiritual. Holding my wife's right leg, helping her push and after a couple hours of screaming bloody murder, WHAM! this amazing lil' guy shot right out into the doctors hands.

I know many of our members have children. But for those who do not have any yet, I can now safely say it's the GREATEST thing that has ever happened to me and I hope we are to him as well.

The energy in the room was INTENSE as the contractions grew in size and frequency.

The fluid and blood explosion that immediately followed his birth was on one hand a horror show but on the other hand it was the point that my consciousness shifted to a place of total abandon and selflessness. That and between the helpless feeling of watching your wife in the utmost pain and being unablen to do anything about it except talk to her.

I am truly, deepy greatful to be a Father.

Sincerely,
Rich

Rich, your story blesses me. What I would give to have a woman to marry and be my partner in life and bear my child, you have no idea. I am only 22 so maybe I am worrying too early. Regardless, your birthing of you and your wife's son blesses me. May God bless you and she and your new born.

Rich,

Congratulations to your wife and you! All the best! Based on my experience, your lives will be even richer.

Alan
