My pair of mini HI Bowies

i do see the possible confusion now, up above i did use the words "mini bowie" but in the email i did ask about the mini micro bowie. maybe there was just a little miscommunication.

are these the OP posted real minis or micro?

after i got my m-43, i KNOW i wont be disappointed :), fit and finish was on freaking point!

It's not just a matter of fit and finish. You can get awful knives with good fit and finish. These however are beautifully useful and effective knives with excellent fit and finish.

Absolutely! What Scara said:thumbup: Only thing better than one of these micros is another one:D The ones being posted are the Mini Micros. Aunti must just be slammed with Christmas stuff trying to spend time with her family as well. Aunti has a sign on her door that reads something like "Take your shoes off please" but she never hangs the closed sign. We are lucky!
Oh and when you get done with that list you can always go custom for something bigger:eek:

Three regular models above the ruler (12" mini missing), Below is Vim 18" AKB, below that is Two Giant Chitlangi Bowies. The woodie GCB is living with a friend here on the forum. Possibilities never end. I have at least four more to add to that pic. Fun being sick aint it?

The knives from the original post are Mini Micros/IBBBs (Itty-Bitty Bawanna Bowie). Each is about 8.5" long. I don't know about weight, though it occurs to me that I have a very accurate kitchen scale at my disposal while I'm on vacation, so I'll be taking their weight.

Got the scale and got the weights. The first is 9 and 1/8 ounces, while the Phil is 8 ounces flat.

Remember this fellas? One year ago! Still selling! Grats Bawanna on a fine idea:thumbup:
First run was between 7 and 8 ounces because the handles were an inch shorter than later runs.

There's no real excuse as to why they wouldn't! Got my first one ever in the post today as well as the gift gopte knife, both are beautiful, and came with mirror finish and razor sharp edges, I have bald patches in my arm to prove it! I'll throw pictures down when the second gopte arrives.

Been a year already? Nice links and a nice trip down memory lane.
Maybe we can wish for a fancy commemorative model. A Kothimoda IBBB. Back to the original size and bhakta expertise?

Ok, a man can dream can't he?

Hell yeah! I love that ideer! Maybe Beaver Kothimoda! Stag handle....hmmm?

Yeah it was. I copied that link but it took about three hours to actually post it. I got lost in the post as well. I really do wish they could reboot the whole thing and make the shorter ones. The one you cut off and stagged looks great but i kinda like the skull buster on the end. Id love to have a short one in stag with cranium cruncher. Nonetheless id call that project a total freekin success! Aunti cant have too many of them left? they have got to be near extinction. If I see any come up on DOTD im gonna snag one for sure. Cant have too many Bowies:D

Gotta get me a Cherokee Rose!

I sure like that small version of your giant chitlangi Bowie. Sweet looking knife. Bunch of sweet looking knives in that picture.

Scara, I am glad you like the bowie!

ndog, I was wondering who got that AKB with the Koster sheath and companion knife!

I recognized it as a Bura so you know that story;) Got two Bura AKB's now.

Better to call them heavy duty letter openers, Bowies ain't allowed in Texas! I still can't believe that of all places.

They are Nepali farm knives:D Thats what Ill tell the cops when they ask about my Micro B. Ha! I do like the 18" Vim letter opener! Good for splitting open triangle boxes I suppose.

My stock reply is "nah, it doesn't even have a crossguard". And it can't hurt to point out "bowies are big knives, this doesn't even have a five inch blade".
