A perfect condition triangle box just hit my desk. The postal service was very gentle with it, no dings, dents or signs of abuse. Very nice triangle box.
And inside get this, 4, count em 4 micro bowies. All very nice, extremely nice. My boys are gonna be very happy and thanks to a pal here I get to keep one of them for myself too. I almost hate to give em up, I can stash a lot of bowies on my chair ya know?
I'll of course post a micro bowie on parade picture first chance I get, hopefully this evening.

Thanks guys! I hope I don't sound like I'm upset or anything. I know I will get it in due time. If it was the last one or I needed it like yesterday it would be different.
I got my ka bar "bowie" in the mail today and this is my first ka bar I'm actually disappointed in lol. Not saying my other ka bars are top of the line or anything, but they have all been at least decent. I don't feel you should be able to bend a bowie blade with your bare hands....

That's a combination of factors. The tempering of that brand can be variable, and it was also designed to bend rather than break when boneheads use it as a prybar instead of as a knife.

Never said you should. I myself wouldn't buy from that brand without having eyes and hands on the knife first, not since I found out about those issues. My instructor (ok, I've never met him or had a lesson from him, but I bought his book and correspond with him) mentioned those issues to me before I could buy one.
And I echo Bawanna's comment. If you manage to bend an HI Bowie with your bare hands we will all be seriously impressed. The HI Bowie is a tank. And it's not a French AMX. It's more like a Russian T-72 or an M1 Abrams.
