I could be perfectly fine with my plain jane 119, it a great knife that just plain works.
If I was designing it however the handle would be more of a slim Western, KA-BAR...ect shape but I didn't design it and really can't complain about the knife as is.
If I had a belt grinder and all the right belt grits I could change the handle but I don't and the handle works well enough.

I personally would leave the guard and pommel the same and remove the finger grooves if I was to ever mod my knife though

I prefer the 4",maybe because I mirror polished the blade and I like shiny knives.LOL

This is a 1980-81 Buck 119. It's had a rough life. But it's shape and belly are a favorite of mine. All I would do to it is thin down the thick edge and take the grind flats higher, creating a softer transition. It has a 440C blade. DM

Posting pictures is now like shooting at a moving target. We start doing it one way and the target moves. Now, it's back to the level of using a storing/ carrying agent.

There is no perfect knife.That's the reason we need so many different knives.LOL

Also the reason why people,such as myself,are always modifying existing knives in a search for the perfect knife.A search that will never end until they bury me.LOL
