Ahhh, Bruce is a handsome lizard. My Chinese water dragon ,Spiro , recently departed.

LMFAO - That fro-hawk is great.

Min-Pins are cool lookin' little dogs - Great pics!!!

i used to have an iguana. strangely enough though, it ran away  but, about a month after his leave, i saw him hanging out in a tree.

Good, healthy looking beardie you got there! How long have you had him/her?

Beardies have got to be one of the best pets. They don't stink, don't make noise, don't make a mess, only go to the bathroom once a day and will go in the bath if you raise them that way, so minimal tank cleaning.

Here's a glamor shot of our one and only pet right now, she's spoiled.

She's done some growing since we first got her two years ago.

AWESOME! We have had Bruce 1yr Thanksgiving 2008. Was my son's Christmas gift. He will go in the bath...and he gets that yellow/orange color as well. What is your dragon's name? Bruce was as big as your little one when we got him.

GET ONE! Awesome, low-maintenance, mild-tempered, pets. I really like Bruce...I am glad to have him in the family :)

My cats might like one to much. Though when I let my turtle run around, they don't really pay attention to him.

Awwww what a cutie.

Where would yall recommend buying one from? I've heard buying animals from chains stores could be a bad idea and our dedicated herp store is closed I believe.

Also, whats a cheap way to get a large tank?

Bought mine from a local breeder. DO NOT GET ONE AT THE STORE.

He looks good for one year. I love how they change shades.

Thanks.
Well, if you don't have any reptile stores, getting one from a chain is still an option. Just take them in for a vet visit after a couple of months and get him checked out.
Just make sure you feed it a lot, while it's growing. Mine was eating about 60 micro crickets twice a day, that's 120 crickets a day! What I did, is started breeding cockroaches. I know it sounds crazy, but you can get some that don't climb, I think they are the turkistan cockroaches, or something like that, do your research. I just kept them in a rubbermaid storage container and fed them cat food. They will take a month or two to really start breeding in good numbers, so you might want to start your roach colony before you get your beardie.

Best way to get a tank, Craigslist. Otherwise, there's not really anyway to get one cheap, even if you build it yourself, the material cost is going to be about the same anyway. You should try and find something that is at 3' x 3' minimum, 4' x 4' would be better, for one beardie. Of course you can start off small when you first get him, but in about a year, he will be full grown and need the larger tank.

man...i feed bruce bearded dragon food...with 12 med crickets once a week. seems to suit him
