My Proteus PSK (warning: picture heavy)

i sling mine over my shoulder or around the back. mostly sling it over a shoulder

its actually quite comfortable to carry it that way.

i tend to run, jog sometimes on the trail so it doesn't bounce up and down along my lower back which would cause alot of stress and discomfort to that region slowing me down.

when one shoulder gets tired i just sling it across the other and away i go

by slinging across my shoulder what i really mean is wearing it like the gear-slinger series from maxpedition. where the pack would be going across your back diagonally.

yeah I see what you mean, I tried it and like it. I'll have to see what its like out'n'about.

 Did you make her pay for it, My girlfriend would have been payin' up :D:D

Are you kidding?! If I "let" her pay to replace the knife, the event would be over. Instead, it provided fuel for several subsequent purchases over the course of a couple of years! :D

haha hammer.

this psk has been with me on about a dozen or so trips.

i've travelled through marshland, woodland, and coastal areas with it and havent' really needed anything else.

i usually build an a-frame to sneak under when im tired, out and about, or just needing some protection from the sun.

the emergency blanket has been used to make a quick shelter from rain on more then one occasion.

all in all its just about everything i need to survive i guess. although if i knew i was going to be in the woods for longer trips i'd definetly grab my b.o.b.

i also added a stainless still soup bowl cup and some heavy duty tin-foil as suggested by other members.

this gives me the option to boil water if i run outta filter tablets.

cheers.

Great kit.
I have a Proteus that I hardly use, so Im gonna put something similar together for my own use. Thanks for the inspiration.
