^ Wow- starting such a ridiculous/unnecessary thread.:thumbsdown: And to think, that you only joined BF's just 3 weeks ago.....

And FWIW: I've experienced nothing but stellar customer service, in all my dealings with Knife Center.

To be honest, yes I could have waited a bit but that wouldn't have changed much, as whatever the outcome is this was still a frustrating and unpleasant experience. I'm not raging

^ I think we can imagine what you're probably like, when you're, "raging."

It was long, but everything ends well in the end. Great! (this doesn't make my initial post any less valid though imo, it still wasn't a good experience)

Where did you see I didn't wait before posting? FYI I waited 2 whole days

You opened a thread about an excellent dealer on the most viewed knife forum on the planet to frivolously complain about something that would have been resolved, if you had just waited 12 hours.

Knifecenter is a business with employees and folks who depend on them for their living. It's true that no will die because of your complaint, but badmouthing them prematurely is wrong and could cost them.

I'm glad you got sorted out, but you should examine your self entitled attitude and apologise for this unnecessary thread.

You summed this thread up perfectly, Stevens; especially the last sentence!:thumbsup:

And the most wonderful feature on this forum....I'll be using it for the OP. :)

You're completely right on the behavioral part, and I admit I might not have been the most friendly guy in my 1st answer to them

^ I'm beginning to think that perhaps you're just in general, not a very optimistic/friendly type person.

Best of luck here.

I think I understand why we disagree now, we just don't see feedback the same way it seems. You seem to think that a bad feedback should always be about a bad outcome, while I think that the overall impression is more important, even when things get sorted out in the end (hence why I think waiting wouldn't have changed anything, I would have made the exact same post).
It doesn't mean knifecenter is a bad shop, but things don't always go flawlessly, and it was one unfortunate case where they didn't.

In my opinion, a "Mixed" titled would be more suited to this situation than "Bad" because while the situation was not ideal and had some unfortunate hiccups, the situation was corrected satisfactorily.

Bad is generally reserved for actual bad players like thieves, scammers, or companies that don't fulfill their obligations.

Knifecenter did. The Bad heading makes it look as though they did not, which is not fair to them.

Oh... Ok here I owe appologies... I completely missed the "Mixed" option when posting, so between "Good" and "Bad", the latter was the one making sense. You're totally right, this is much more accurate to the situation, and that's what I should have used in the first place. Fixing this right now!
