version 2.0 --tweaked the tip and narrowed the blade a little, also made the handle a bit longer and wider. made the first choil slightly bigger and added lanyard hole. the pivot hole placement is tricky as hell, guess thats why im not a knife maker..

I like it

Looks great. If your gonna actually use it hard, I would suggest rounding the spine from the tip to the jumping. Much easier on the thumbs. And a lanyard pin between the liners in the rear. And a much bigger pivot might be prudent for good strength.

Thanks guys! Next rendering I'm working on will be to the exact dimension. I'm gonna figure out the geometry and take that into account to finalize the handle and figure out where everything would go,(like the thumb stud, lockbar, blade stop)if you were to close the knife. And of course a drawing of it closed. This thing really has my brain going..i wonder if Peter's rendition will look anything close to what I'll end up with.

I would seriously LOVE to get one of these. I really like the blade to handle ratio.....I would sincerely hope you could retain that in the actual version. I cannot stand wasted space at the end of the handle of an overly long handle.

Blade shape is beautiful, as long as it isn't chisel ground that would be hardcore!!!!

Great concept...looking forward to seeing the actual knife now!!

I like the second handle a bit more....

What thickness were you thinking on it.

Id buy that. Hopefully a thick blade with a titanium handle with some g10. Titanium liners. Awesome design

Definitely a thick blade, thick ti framelock, not sure about liner..possibly just thick carbon fiber, lightning strike carbon fiber to be exact

Your doing great! I really like the Tanto you designed. Peter will make it a Monster! Your in good hands buddy ;) go 3/16 on the M4 Blade ;)

here you go buddy!

good clearance all around kept your blade specs and handle elements. pieces moove freely and can use a full length back spacer or barell spacers.
