  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

My Skyline Collection

No^, there were more reds than sw blues. I actually remember a few years back when you could buy them for $50. Hindsight. And I only gave that info earlier on the 40th because I know people would be asking if I didn't. Good luck to all you sky captains.

"Sky Captains" - I may have to make a logo for that! OK, so there were almost 4X RDSW's vs BLSW's on the BladeHQ run - any information on the lost and lonely plain original red one, the 1760RD? I've seen more references to the BLSW and people with photographs of it than I have of the 1760RD - and it seems harder to find...

Reason being when it was produced. The sw blue was very recent obviously. There are many more people collecting now than there was back when they started making them. Now that they are hot you will have more posts. Like I said I remember when you could pick them up on the cheap before the oranges and browns flooded the market. Thats about the time the skyline got really collectible.

The Red BB was just not as hot when they were around. Kind of like a red ram now is. They are harder to find and command more monies. Before their time would be a good way to describe it in short.

Heck if I recall right the recent red sw was the same way. Not as many people were interested in it as they were the blue sw.

Let it be known I coined the term "sky captain":D

It does ebb and flow - a month ago a Skyline damascus was a good deal for a Benjamin - I'm guessing a new run was just delivered because I see them everywhere, and the folks who'd been trying to sell them for a large profit are having to come to grips that the market is now saturated with damascus Skylines (not that I see that as a bad thang...)
