After reading the thread http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/878730-321sold.biz-is-a-gentleman-and-HONEST-seller....., I received criticism for not providing proof and for telling 321sold.biz to "crawl back under the rock you came out from under." That I should have handled it privately. That 321sold.biz is a "gentleman and an HONEST seller." Well, I have a few comments to the community.

99 times out of 100 I handle touchy areas privately.....offline so to speak.....I give and receive constructive criticism privately - ask Fiddleback. In this community, they have earned that courtesy and so have I. 321sold.biz has not earned that courtesy and got a dose of cowboy justice from me, pure and simple. Was it fair - I'd say no. I was out of line. I do not apologize for being out of line in this instance.

321sold.biz ripped off two fellas on KF. One of those fellas is a very good customer of mine - 321sold.biz did not deliver a knife that was paid for - it took my customer five weeks to get his money back from Paypal. My customer then indicated to me that he saw another thread on KF where 321sold.biz bought a knife, got his money back from Paypal, returned a $6.00 spyderco knife, and sold the original knife on eBay. When called out on this behavior on the KF, 321sold.biz slew a bunch of obscenities, the KF could not tolerate the obscenities, and it got deleted. Hence the proof that you few are looking for is gone. He did the same thing in my thread, hoping to get it all deleted, but it didn't work in this forum. So, for what it's worth, I could not handle this situation privately - it would not have advised anybody. Because BF does not delete threads with all that hate and swearing, now there is finally a record that remains....a discussion of what happened, in my words, along with this thread I am posting.

I see four or five of you guys are putting positive feedback on KF for 321sold.biz because you've had good transactions with him and saying the same here. Good for you - I'm happy for you. Maybe he turned over a new leaf here at BF.....good. We'll have to agree to disagree on that one guys. I look at it this way: If Bernie Madoff got out of jail tomorrow and turned a new leaf, do you think that the people that DID make money off Bernie would do business with him again?

Now, you four or five guys that are defending him, you're making yourselves look bad. Sure he's going to deny he did it! I recommend you drop this, but go ahead and do business with him - his email account is brad.vacca322@gmail.com For the four or five customers that I lost because I was "out of line" I'll probably gain 20. For those of you that say he's a gentleman, I could forward you the 27 vile, vulgar emails that I received from him to date, unopened and unresponded to, but why waste my time? I deserve every one of those emails but, I'm a big boy, I can take it, hammer away. Make your statements about how I was out of line, but lets not let it get out of hand. I'm going to say to you guys, we can agree to disagree.

Finally, to the Moderators, thank you very much for stepping up and taking charge of the situation....you all did good in my book. However, if you feel I deserve an infraction, I'll take it with no complaints.....I earned it.

While I had absolutely no problem with him being called out in the way he was (you could tell the caliber of person he was by the way he reacted) it is nice to have further information and insight into just how he had wronged people.

Since dtmbinb closed his thread so he can get the last word like a child, it's good to see the other side brought up. Especially since Bastid handed him his ass anyway.

No worries here. 321whatchamacallit did not get banned because of your words but his own. I appreciate you bringing it up that he may very well be a thief. And had he responded differently, you may very well have come under some fire for it. But it's obvious the way he exploded that you uncovered something he didn't want uncovered. And his behavior is further proof that he's not the kind of person anyone in this community wants to do business with thief or not.

And I think a few other members have hurt their reputations by taking up for the douche.
 
The guy was a jackass from the get go. He had the reading comprehension of an infant and the mouth of a streetwalker. I'm glad you went at him. He was a bad player.

I normally don't get involved in things like this: I'm too new here and, quite frankly, too uninformed about the various dealings going on to really form an intelligent opinion.

That said - and I'm speaking only for myself - I greatly appreciate your efforts to warn those of us who haven't had the misfortune of "dealing" with the likes of 321sold.biz.

I am one of those who have frequently lusted after your knives (the two pictured are excellent examples of why) and make it a personal point to look for your offerings in the sale forum. Your willingness to step up to the plate (for a customer, no less) is an action that I deeply admire. Likewise with your willingness to accept full responsibility for your actions, should an infraction be deemed necessary.

You have moved to the very top of my list of makers whose knives I will someday own: once my currently placed orders have been fulfilled, I will be contacting you (about 6 months from now) for my first purchase of your knives.
 
First of all, thank you for bringing this to light. There are too many good folks out there to deal with without having to weed through trouble. If people did good business with him, good for them. I don't get too much into the politics of things. Wrong is wrong and I'll bring it up when I see it because it is the right thing to do.

Doing some of the things you sited makes him a problem in my books because while I like to be the hopeless optimist, the pragmatic side of me figures if you would do it once, you would do it again. People get mighty brave behind a keyboard. Keyword: Spam. :)

It seems that the defender(s) of 321sold.biz will still continue to use their lack of logic when they "speak their mind".

When someone has modded this community for a while, it is not too difficult to see true honesty and character and it is quite easy to see lack of the same.

Those knives are exquisite. I also would be willing to bet that it reflects the character of the person who made it.

It is good to see you post and Bawana1 also. You both were aware of and seen the post yesterday turn to "scrap".
I do think I made myself clear on my feelings as to Brad Vacca and as I stated -- " if Brad burns me , I WILL POST SO and take the ridicule "

I'm going to jump in here . I am aware of the e-mails sent to TK and of there content . For those asking to see them , they are not to be published . The threats of unspeakable acts against his family and I mean the whole family can only come from a deranged person . I am happy for those that have had good deals with him but I for one under no circumstance would deal with such a character .

Be aware and stay alert . They walk among us .

Holy crap!! Hearing this, my esteem for TK is even higher. To keep quiet through yesterday's thread, knowing what had been written and having to listen to 321banned's supporters.....very admirable sir.
 
You are correct in that this will create opportunities for you. I noticed your work through this incident, and you are now on my list of makers to contact next time i am in the market for a custom. Your work is exquisite.
i dont know if 321 was a con artist but the kind of language he used was out of line, i have a very extensive repertoire of swear words but BF has never seemed the place to use them. Guy got what he deserved imho

Keep up the excellent work, when i get into traditionals you will be one of the first makers i contact. :thumbup:
