^^ your right, I really don't know why no one has picked up the idea. I posted some of my proto types a year or so ago. It just make sense.

love the striker in the cap, great idea. i made a spycapsule firesteel like yours, i like the combo. was trying to figure out how to include a striker with it so i wouldn't need one on a lanyard with it, so it would be a totally independent package. this is perfect, great idea.

looks like a pretty nice rig, i like the kydex around the altoids tin, and it looks like you have a pretty good little kit in it too.

I shaped out some Jigsaw blades, the little circular indent area works great for a striker and is already done for you. Big Lots is a great cheap source for jigsaw blades about $1 for 5 of them.
