My Sweet New Wood Scales and ~UPDATED~ Pics of Desert Queen Completed ~ 6/13/11

That looks killer. The only advice I could offer is to give the paint LOTS of time to cure. It worked for this one:

Thanks guys! And I've had the paint curing for a week now, and it what we use to touch-up our humvees, i hope it lasts a while!

Good luck, I sleep... change that, I wait with my BK9 under my pillow. :)

Thanks guys for your comments! I love having this hobby to occupy my time over here!

It would be an honor to be stabbed by one of our honored service men with that beautiful tool. Thanks for your service for the rest of us. Just keep your head down, ammo clean and your feet dry.

Well, I'm not sure that the many who have met their demise at the tip of an American Soldier's blade would call it an honor, but thanks! And it's my pleasure to serve my country and the people who call her home. I'm definitely doing all I can to stay safe, I have a 5 month old who has to have someone teach him the essentials of firearms and cutlery!

Turned out great!! Those scales you made are pretty amazing, especially since all you used was basically just a BK11. Thanks for your service. Stay safe and make sure you do teach that 5 month old all about Firearms/Cutlery!
