This may be the wrong forum for these kinds of questions, but i love the paint job. How do you apply that paint? Is it a powder coat? If so, does the oven temp needed for powder coating change the temper?

The paint is bake on GunKote 2400 made by K&G Industries. The curing temp is 325 F which is lower than my tempering temp. So no it does not effect the temper.
 
Got another question that I think I emailed to you, not sure if it got through. On your old site you had a page with a sword that was about the same length as the Abaddon, green handles, might have been jade G10 and a rather nice grind. Was that a one-off, an earlier design, or something else?
 
I got your email on friday. You asked a question about a custom modification to one of my swords. I like to think things over before i rush to respond. Its a lesson learned from past mistakes and I will return your email shortly.

Yes that sword was a one of a kind, it had a partial recurved blade and a green G10 grip.

I won't say beautiful but I will say purposeful. I really like them!

As an aside, doesn't every maker have a stool that looks just like that (even blood covered) in their shop? I was thinking you stole my balde polishing stool (which explains the blood.)
 
in all honesty, after seeing the title of this thread i was prepared to take a peek, snicker, and then move on without saying anything unkind.

but those are simply awesome. keep up the excellent work.

The gladius looks like a mini sword version of the one that Gatsu uses from Berserk.
