My views on my White Owl.

At least we agree on a single blade. A single spear with a long pull sounds like a good one.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think the Northwoods Indian River jack was built by GEC.

If it was released some years back, I would've thought it was made by Queen actually?

And I tend to agree with bdev about a single blade Owl. The whole point with a single-spring knife is that you CAN get two blades on the spring with the same thickness. That's why i prefer them to Jacks, generally.....

Come on, let us dream :D
Anyway, there is no single bladed slipjoint out there built on an equal end frame. And single blades have their place.
The 15 frame has been produced with a dozen blade configurations, always with a 1 to 1 (blade to spring) ratio, and it sold very well...so why a 68 shouldn't? In that size range, the market is still hungry ;)

Congrats Papa Andi on a very nice acquisition!! Can't get a pic posted, but my Owl in ebony gets a lot of pocket time.

The WO is nearly perfect for daily carry.

Single blade will get you a longer and straight blade. I think I'd like one myself.

Great shot, Will! That Euro-coin is collected very much. I gave several of these Owl-€uro-coins to a coworker - she´s a frenetic coin collector...

Thanks Andi! Those are rather rare up here unless people have been on Greek holidays, I think it's by far the best Euro coin. Italy's is nice too.

Looks like you'll be getting a very fine Stag Owl in the post soon. I do hope you enjoy it, I find it's a very handy pattern and a looker.

Regards, Will

Hi Will - indeed - they are not as common here around. The greek coins are really nice looking. The german ones are not as nice as from states. I like the one from Slovenija as well. :)

I´m really looking forward on this great stag Owl. This will definitelly be worth an extra thread for this great man, Thom, and the knife. I´m sure I´ll like it - I´ve been eyeballing with this pattern almost for a long time and it landed several times in my shopping cart but it was removed again each time - stupidly!

I´ve seen a nice Fightin'n'Roosters cattle knife (equal end as well as the WO) which is very attractive too :D

A Greek hol would be really fine. I carry my Ancient Owl (the original antique coin would be even better!) as a superstitious charm...If I get another Greek Euro in change I'll certainly send you it, but it's mainly the Finnish ones with a few French or Germans. In the meantime here's the Ebony in its entirety, thanks to OMR for starting this thread, this is a very fine GEC pattern.

Here's my new WO wearing rust red bone. Just got it yesterday. This one goes to the top of my EDC list. I already have a WO in ebony with a spear main but it never was one I wanted to carry. I prefer a clip main.

Turn it up to 720p and go directly to 1:44:
