My weekend..

I spent my weekend in a way that I never have before. I sat at home in my living room, reclined back in my favorite leather chair with a bag of beef jerky and chocolate covered pretzels playing the PS3. I am not a big gaming person, and the only controller I was ever really able to use was for the original Nintendo. I got the game Skyrim for Christmas though and gave it a chance. I am now a Skyrim addict, I literally played this game from morning til night. Eight hours would go by feeling like only a half an hour. This game is just way too much fun and I was thinking there could only be one thing to make it even better. During the game you pick up all sorts of weapons to use.... none of which are Busse's. I thought about being able to walk around finding Bushwackers, Killa Zillas, Team Gemini's, Basic's, etc. and be able to store them in my inventory to slay dragons with later. INFI is the only practical way to go, too bad the game doesn't know that.:)

I chose Imperial just because the description said I would find more gold...no gold digger jokes please. :p

Eric, please don't be so jealous of my new addiction. While your out spending money going out to eat or to the movies or bars on the weekends, I am at home only spending gold I found laying about Skyrim. Winning! Duh. :D

If you get this on PC, there is a place called skyrimnexus.com where you would be able to post a request to have custom weapon models put in once the construction kit is released. (Bethesda releases a construction kit for each game they put out as they have a HUGE modification following amongst their games, and unlike most companies, they actually listen and give the people what they want.)

Welcome to the time vampire that is an Elder Scrolls game!

We should call the people who made the game.... make this happen!! They def need some Busse's

Here's their website: http://www.bethsoft.com/

Although, like I said, once the construction kit comes out, any modder worth their weight in INFI would be able to do this. On a number of their previous games other knives were added via the modding community. I believe there were some Kabars and a few European knives that were put out. A moab would be pretty pimp though.

Lexi, its actually goes,,,, duh, winning ;):D

I played a pretty sweet game this weekend too. I walked around all day with a gun looking for four legged brown creatures with horns to appear. Sadly there were none close enough to shoot. I tried to warp closer but my powers were weak at the time. LOL It was so realistic, i felt I was actually outside the whole time and I broke a sweat more than once. What a great game.;)
Sorry Lexi, gotta give you a hard time.
Glad you had a good weekend.

Sure everyone, make fun of the nerdy kid. :p

Nah... I'm an Assassin's Creed addict... and I used to fix computers for a living, so I can't say much other than I understand how much fun a good video game can be.

Way to keep this thread on topic Tim. :)

I got Skyrim for Christmas too and I've put a lot of time into it!!! High elf necromancer. I conjure minions to fight for me and I don't even wield a weapon.

Lexi, as you can already see by the other replies, you are not the only one. :D

You might also like Dark Souls, similar theme to Skyrim but the combat is a little harder.

Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and Far Cry 2 are some of my favorites. Also the Mass Effect series but I must admit I started playing it and stopped several times having lost interest early, then forced myself to play it more and then I got hooked.

Nah... I'm an Assassin's Creed addict

And as AZTimT says, the Assassin's Creed Series.

Wow. I bought my housemate that game for Christmas - haven't seen him since ! ;)
Enjoy ! :)

Too many buttons for me. My 5 year old can kick my butt on all the new games. I miss ATARI.

My problem with controllers is the ones for consoles are too small to work with my oversized mitts.

I miss atari too... Pac Man, Joust, Pitfall, Space Invaders, and I was the master at bowling, where you could steer the ball one direction like a curveball... line up those big pixels so the corner of the ball hits pin 1 and strike everytime.
