My weekend..

Personally, I'm more of an FPS guy (Gears of War 3, mainly). My friend sent me a vid earlier of a mod that was done on the PC version of Skyrim. It makes the dragons look like Randy Savage. Enjoy :D

My problem with controllers is the ones for consoles are too small to work with my oversized mitts.

boo hoo hoo, cry me a river, welcome to my world.

So this skyrim, sounds like fun, I heard it was buggy on PS3 ?

Modern warfare 3 FTW! Didn't think there were to many gamers on here. Guess I was wrong.

I've always been a COD fan, but I find the multiplayer on MW3 lacking. I feel that COD4 and MW2 had a much better online experience. That being said, MW3's online is still wayyyyy better than Black Ops. I've now been converted by one of my friends over to the Gears franchise though. I'm on 360, and my gamertag is the same as my Bladeforums account. Ya know, just in case someone wants to talk knives while getting their game on...

Finished Gears of War 2 playing co-op the other night. Great killfest !

I heard the same - apparently the major complaint is that when far enough in the game, when your save-file becomes very large, then the game just slows down tremendously to the point that it becomes unplayable. The major concern is that some speculate that it is a platform related issue that will not be fixable. Apparently the issue is not prevalent on the X-Box.

Unfortunately I bought the PS3 version and it is too late to return it now so I might have to fork out for the X-Box version in addition :( I have not gotten far enough into the game to have experienced the slowdown issue so will wait until then before forking out for the X-Box version. Hopefully, against expectations, there will be a fix by then.

I feel odd saying this, but getting a headshot on the Gears games is more satisfying than other games.
You get a nice "Splat"...

I also find Fallout 3 using VATS very satisfying and you can get various levels of satisfaction, depending on your taste, with certain perks.

Haha, true. I could never really get into rpg's though. The only one I really enjoy playing is Borderlands.

Knives, video games, jerky, hot girls and chocolate, sounds like hog heaven to me :D

Seriously, is there more to life?

Nah... I'm an Assassin's Creed addict... and I used to fix computers for a living, so I can't say much other than I understand how much fun a good video game can be.

it's buggy on all the systems. but if you get it on computer, there's a bunch of fixes and stability improvements as well as mods
