I just want to echo what Marcel said, great guys and a great time. A double thanks to George for the tarps, that was a lotta rain.

Excellent beans, George! Now that I think of it, it's a good thing it was windy... :D :D
 
Marcel & Bill: No problem guys. You are welcome to come down to my shop anytime. But, the next time the bean may have just a bite more of the IG HT'g relish in them.:eek: :eek: :eek:

I had a very good time, the beer was cold, IG's bean STUFF:eek: :D
I think he stuck some of his heat treating relish in it though..
Jim Siska's demo On Grinding was as always very good, welcomed
and very informational, the demo on the etching/equipment by
TUS Tech. a lot of hammering going on
with the two forges running.,, those of you that did not come, you missed a good one..

I thought it was IG's life you saved. They must both owe you their lives. So maybe you should get a knife from each of them.

Hey everybody! Thanks for a wonderful time. Big thanks to IG for all the help with my first damascus. Can't wait to start that knife. Sorry I missed everyone going, but Geoege had me chained to his surface grinder getting that piece of cable smooth. We then etched it and the pattern looks great! Look for a pic from me in the next couple of weeks. IG gave me a nice piece of balck palm for the handle. I'ts gonna rock!
Great folks, great time, great club. So when are we doing this again??????.........

Marcel; Didn't you end up with the forged blade. If so make sure you post a picture of it when it is done. Don't forget it is O-1.

I did get the forged blade. I ground it out on Sunday night and am ready to heat treat it. Will post a picture as soon as I put handles on it. Thanks again for a great time. By the way when do we vote for the biggest mouth?

CHEESEL, if my dog could lift thier legs that high I would give up working and go on tour with them, SCANNA. Well since I don't work I would just go on tour.:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
