WHat you mean your not chained to the workbench? :p

Afraid I ahven't been able to check the mail for a few days, been away, but I'll do so as son as I get back, thanks in advance though! :)

Thanks, next...mowing the lawn:p
Probably finish the Old Timer next...
Did your box show up?

You didn't waste any time getting started.

That looks good! Can't wait to see how the others turn out.

Boy that bluegill turned out nice, good choice on the Ironwood.(not that the Rosewood wouldn't look good too though)

I have a 15OTO blank that I need to put scales on,but seeing as how it's got the last O designation I'll put some orange G10 on it.

That Elk has some great color to it & is going to be nice with the old weathered blade, can't wait to see it finished.

That looks amazing! Love all the dark color in that piece of wood.

Jeff

The 'gill turned out beautiful!

Nice pictures, too!

Ill bet that one looks pretty cool when it's done! I've thought about doing an orange knife at some point, hard to misplace one of those!

Thanks for the compliments guys:)

I thought I would sneak a few pics of the Elk slabs in here un noticed...

Elk is very porous in the marrow section, so a bunch of sanding dust was saved, and packed into the pores, then set up with very thin CA. Then the slabs were quickly sanded while the CA was almost set up. Even the blood grove got filled this way.

These are still oversize and ready to be glued then pinned to the blade...
Now the question remains, NS or Brass pins ?

Love the reddish hue, like the summer coat on a deer.
Go with brass pins BTW.(or copper)

Nice!!

So you are able to scrape the bone with your barlow?

I have no clue how tough stag is, so that is interesting to me.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm paying close attention though. SWMBOs brother has tons of stag so...
