Nice guys...what's the price Larry? How about:

- Name: Hylas (Heracles' devoted companion)

- Blade: 3 1/2" Satin finished CPM420V / BG-42. .130" thick stock.

- Handle: "satin" carbon fiber OR polished white ivory micatra with small circle cutout "design" somewhere near upper rear of front handle to show liners. Small lanyard hole near rear upper corner.

- Liners: 1/16" Ti. liners...anodized deep blue and jeweled. Fileworked "lock bar."

- Dual heat colored thumbstuds. (Gold since their stainless.)

- Clip: stain finished and jeweled, or blue anodized.

I'll add if I come up with another name, but Heracules companion seems fitting to me.

"Cutter" cause that's what it does. Also, the sleek lines remind me of the old fast sailing ships, called cutters.

Andre and I picked the name "The ADVocate". Several of the knives should be available for viewing at the Blade Show. Thanks for all of the suggestions.

Also design changes that BladeForums members help make in the knife:

Blade: BG-42 Stainless

Handle Material: Polished G-10 with laynard hole (Andre believes it to be more durable than micarta)

Liners: Titanium anodized deep blue and jeweled.

Clip: Blue Anodized Titanium

The price range is from $350-375. Once I get a completed model I will post it at the end of this thread.
