Come on, there are lots of folks who participate here.....it's time to vote!!
Show Phil we appreciate his efforts. Even if it's not in the poll, but in your post, he said that was OK.

(Stepping down off my soapbox)

I like FOLDING Schrades best.

How about Imperial Schrade Knives 1904 - 2004

"Imperial Schrade" was the official company name I believe. The dates double-clarify which knives we're interested in. And losing the word "Collector" seems more inclusive to those of use who are merely 'Accumulators', 'Users', 'Swappers', or whatever else.

I like schrade-manufactured knives, but it seems that they will be manufactured again by a company calling themselves schrade, but only we will know the difference.

I'll vote too. I'm with the group. Schrade Collector's Forum 1904-2004 (even though I've only got like 4 of 'em so far!)

This is it, guys. Last day of voting.

If you are not a paying member, you cannot click on one of the choices listed above... you can however simply make a post stating your preference or thoughts on the issue. This website is not a democracy, it is Spark's forum and his decision to make the change or simply leave things the way they are. We will respectfully accept his choice and life will go on.

Thanks to those who have participated!

I hope we have not overwhelmed the public with our show of voting force. I feel like one of those people involved with the SETI program. In my heart I feel there is intelligent life out there and that it is watching us but it will not respond. I doubt if our voting statment will carry any weight regarding our opinion for a name change. No big deal lets call it Taylor San Schrades. free fortune cookies all around all with the same message ROUNDEYE BITES DUST.

Hey Phil my messages were confusing yesterday I was multi tasking.( That is the in vogue word) that means that I was as busy as a one legged man in a stampede trying to whistle dixie and sweep the street at the same time. In my opinion your judgment was excellant on the purchase and the pair we spoke about are excellant as well sorry for the confusion. LT

'Multi-Tasking'? Next thing we know you will be 'networking'.

Thanks for your help with the knives I asked about.

Email sent to Spark with a link to this post.

Rots O Ruck, Roundeye Got No Clout, Nobody Vote, Nobody Care, All Buying Commy Junk In Walmart No Time To Vote. Roundeyes Get Shot Down Ahh Soo. Lt

No one voted for Phil to get a life.. Be proud!

Networking and multi-tasking.. Sheeze I retired from computers to avoid using those words in sentences and I come here and the one and two guys I thought would never ever use em are putting them to use.
Hell.

Hell I did it as a joke like unconditional love one of my favorites. Didn't you see my definition. Did you get my message on the SS thing? LT

Looks like I missed the boat on this but if you are still in hailing distance put me down for Schrade Collectors Forum 1904-2004.
The good news is I finally got a 34 OT sharpened up and shipped off to my uncle in CA. I think he will enjoy it.

Sharing is caring. I have probably given away more Schrades than I've kept. And I've kept a lot. My son in Florida was thrilled this past Christmas over a knife I sent him that I was less then thrilled with. He is proud of his Irish heritage and it was an Irish Apex knife. I Think my wife was nearly as thrilled over the knife I gave her, her very own chef's "Trail Boss" 140OT! Now mine is safe from the kitchen chores! I can't think of a better way to carry on the Schrade name and tradition than to see to it that there is a Schrade in every pot....er...sharing the wealth as it were.

LT,

Yup got the mail in between system crashes and parts replacements and reloading of operating systems where I lost all my e-mail and addresses. Mother nature finally caught up to me in a big way. I'll give it attention in the morning.
Im still catching e-mails and saving return addresses.
Oh i wasn't picking on you I was just noting that no one picked on Phil. I had to say something. :p

There is a saying that giving someone a knife is giving them a piece of yourself. I like that.

Larry, I'm still working with computers and now the common words are: "Compliance", "Independent Review", "Risk Assessment" and such.

Sorry, I have been doing too many overlays of shared memory while time slicing in an interrupt driven heterogeneous multi processor system and have to branch out of the loop before I get a stack overflow.

Luis

It was an easier world when I worked in prison a much simplier vocabulary every sentence began or ended or both with two words one beginning in M the other in F. Unless of course when dealing with Italian americans in which case it was FORGET ABOUT IT which filled these spots in the conversation. LT PS In response to Larry Mr Parker once put out a line of knives that each had a bible verse on it I have one etched It is better to give than receive ( or close to it). I have always wanted to stab someone with that knife and then recite that passage since I believe it is much better to be the stabber than the stabee.

Luis,
You and I need to talk.
I haven't had to overlay any memory since the last BNE and JMP statement I used. That was back when 32k came on a truck looking like a fish net with donuts connecting the lines.
And it sounds like your looking up at sr managment whom couldn't design a supportable multi tasking, multi threaded application if they could spell it. Big Iron still exists?

Hey don't blame me all I did was make fun of one od there words ( Multi -tasking ) and they all went nuts. They started babbling in foreign tongues. LT

That might be LT, but you are a large target, you know. A lot like The Duke, I guess.
