Shikari. It is Hindi for professional hunter or hunting guide. It was a name used by Norm Thompson on his safari grade hunting apparel and equipment. Here is a Norm Thompson Shikari hat from the early 1950's along with a Shikari branded Schrade Woodsman knife.
