Name her "Lola" i have a chocolate lab named lola, she fits the name perfect.

Or try "Roxy" Just like it for a dog.

If the definition fits ... Tizzy, a highly excited and distracted state of mind. When you call her "here Tiz ... here 'tis". Or also like Tiffy ... Tiffany for formal intros.

angie
sidney

but i like the name katie, so maybe the wife will come around to it

We have a Lab, leaping and water seem to be a huge part of his day.

Talulah: Leaping water (Choctaw)

Eflish: Vanmoriel (Vahn-more-ee-ell) nick name "Vahn" ?

translation

English: Layla "Dark beauty"

We have come to a decision, her name is Bessie. There were a bunch of great names suggested, and I thank you all. Since no one suggested the name we finally picked, I am going to put everyones name in a hat and pick one. I will announce the winner tomorrow. Thanks again Mark

Ruca

The one girl, that you would choose over every other

Your true love is your Ruca

When I was younger I had a female Rottweiler named Ruca. I always loved that dog and that name. I thought I'd pass it along for your consideration.

Oops my bad, I thought it was still Bessie , thanks mark

I win! Wow! Thank you Mark!

I'm just a sucker for mammoth scales and appreciate this very much! Now I have to figure out how to use these!

Thanks again!

Let's see I love the name "camy" short for camouflage. My girlfriend has a yellow lab named camy. She is the best dog and trained to hunt also. Good luck and what a nice addition to the family for you
Have fun
Al.

Ill vote for " Ganzer" named after the merganzer ducks. Seems fitting for a birding dog.

Nemophila is one of the few black flowers. Flower name for the wife and "Nemo", the captain of the dark deep seas, from the Jules Verne novel, for you to use.
