Name That Knife!!!

Why are you asking a damascus man about other mosaic makers? Of course he'll know those ones.

Well, it would be downright unamerican to exclude Don from all the fun. :) But, I promise you all this, I WILL get him... :)

BTW, everybody is more than free to add their own pics and try and see if they can stump the fish... :)

Okay, here's one for Don:

I think it might be Steve Dunn.

Update: I just found a knife with Ron Newton's damascus that looks like it.

Update #2: To make this the most varied answer ever, my dad thinks it's Steve Filicietti.

It's a Filicietti Pattern but I don't think it's his knife, there are others doing this pattern now. It could be a Newton or a Newton/Fitch collaberation or one of the Brazilians.

But I'm going out on a limb and say it's a Jim Walker.
I'm not scared of being wrong :D

Now lets get back on temper lines (hamons).

Don Hanson lll

Roger, I have seen that pattern I think on Filliciettis and Newtons, I think its a Newton though. Either way, how much do you want for it. :)

PS, saw you sold that sweet Kilby Bowie from Ebay, made a few bucks on it I imagine? :)

Thats OK, I snagged a mint 3.5" Centofante tail lock with white pearl and Lytton engraving for $800 a few months ago, sold it for

My vote is for the Newton and Fitch collaboration. I'll even bet it's got a Giraffe bone handle.

Don got close, then moved in the wrong direction. Danbo's got it. Here's the whole knife:

Filicietti pattern in a Fitch / Newton collaboration.

That one wasn't fair. If all you're going to show is the pattern in the blade, it at least needs to be unique. :)

Dylan, you just keep your trap shut. :) Let's see if Don the wise knows. :)

In the meantime, if anybody gets this other one, including Don, well, I will be impressed for sure.

Don.....Don.....hmmmmmm, where did he go? Obviously DOn has cracked under the pressure, and cannot name the maker of that last picture. :)

If Don is unable to name the maker, I win Roger's knife. :)
