Name the top five custom makers that you want to own, BUT DON'T.

Nice post, nothing like blowing your own horn in your first post, and not even having the pride of capitalising your own name while doing so. That sure makes me want to buy your knives.

SORRY ABOUT THE PUNCTUATION, I'M JUST VERY PROUD OF MY WORK!

Yeah Bill doesn't type so well....., but seeing his knives may change your mind about buying one....lol.

Gorgeous stuff!

What the hey. A guy can dream, can't he?

My list is not so much about the people/makers, but rather about what kinds of blades I still want to own someday, and then selecting whoever makes my favorite styles.

1. Angus Trim- I want a good sword that I can use to help learn about western martial arts.
2. Darrel Ralph- I want a good EDC folder that's big, and I've always like the lines of his maxx stuff.
3. Joe Szilaski- I want a nice lookin' pipe tomohawk that will bring joy both while chopping, and after the work is done with some of my favorite pipe tobacco.
4. Bailey Bradshaw- If I were looking for a big bowie, he's the first one I'd go to, simply because the lines of his designs are closest to what I'd make myself. I'm not a huge fan of the generic "southwest bowie" so much. Just love his style all around.
5. Larry Fuegen- He's the one man who can consistently make a "southwest bowie" that I do like.

I've already got my "fancy church folder" taken care of with my engraved Warren Osborne piece, but Ken Steigerwalt definitely has a style I like.
Already owned a Moran piece. I was the only kid in my high school who had one! :)

1 - Scottish Dirk by Vince Evans
2 - Anything by Arpad Bojtos
3 - Lochsa by Scott Cook
4 - Rampage by RJ Martin
5 - A Searles repro bowie by Harvey Dean

Mr.Coffey,
Maybe he is an "Ahole" ,but you should call him that either face to face or off my Forum.

YOUR AN ASSHOLE!

You may be pointing out the some obvious character traits of Joss, Mr. Coffey, but he can write in english better than you can, and he is french, so I imagine that his french is better than yours, as well, and he is consistent.

I have seen and handled your work. It ranges from the truly mediocre to top quality.

With this observation, I am pointing out

1. Blade to handle ratio
2. Fit and finish
3. Overall design.

You can be happy for your work, and click your heels together and yell "yippee", but by coming in here and mouthing off, you just lost a BUNCH of potential buying customers.

Enjoy your knives.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Not to belabor the point :barf: , but....

Does anyone else find it a bit strange that Mr. Coffey responded in a relatively civil fashion to the same post by Joss, TWO WEEKS AGO?

No matter where I go, how many people I meet, the capacity of the human being to press the self destruct button will never cease to amaze me!

Got a nice Cashen Damascus Bowie, and a real cool Dunn SW Bowie.

I was scratching my head about that one as well. Oh well, I'm not going to try to make sense of irrational behavior.
