Name your favorite blade purchases of 2011

What are your favorite knives/blades/sharp things you bought this year? They don't have to be 2011 models. Here's my list, in order of use...

1. Best Made Unfinished Hudson Bay Axe
2. Busse CABSLE
3. Cheness Inc. Oniyuri (no bo-hi)
4. Original linerlock ATS34 Benchmade Stryker (910BT)
5. Benchmade Auto-Stryker (9101BT)

I bought a spare ESEE Junglas also, but since I already have one I didn't want to include it. But, damn, that's a nice knife.
 
Definitely my BRKT mini fox river in speckled ambrosia and my Kurt Allen Swearingen Bird and trout in 1082 steel and red maple burl.
 
Winkler-Sayoc RnD Hawk. It's on order, may be ready this year. Does this count?
 
It would have to be the balisong collaboration project I did with Nathan Dewey.

i haven't bought a ton of knives this year, but my fave are:
Spyderco Endura ffg with green scales
Ontario Rat 1
 
I never thought I'd ever step into the custom knife world, and I'm glad I did. My absolute favorite and as of right now my grail knife Direware Solo v2.

..can't wait for a few more in the works down the road

just got a Grayman Dua. it isnt my first custom but its my first user custom, it is always in my pocket now and its going to dominate my edc rotation.

also the benchmade socp dagger set are nothing short of amazing, just great defensive blades, when im working security the trainer is strongside so that i can use it as an impact/control tool, and the live blade is weak side in case things get seriously out of hand.
 
Sorry - it's hard to rate the intrinsic properties of a BK2 against those of a 480-1! I categorized them as to relative size and fb/folder:

Best larger fb: Becker BK2
Best smaller fb: Arno Bernard Wild Dog in spalted maple
Best full size folder: ZT-0551
Best medium size folder: CRK Small Plain Sebbie (S35VN)
Best small size folder: BM 480-1 Shoki (m390)

These may change after Christmas Day. I've already had a great year.

Favorite large fixed blade: GL Drew Fighter
Favorite small fixed blade: Dozier KM-5 Bodyguard
Favorite large folder: HTM DDR Gun Hammer Bowie
Favorite small folder: CRK Small Ironwood Sebenza 21

I also bought a spare Swamp Rat RatManDu which I didn't include. It's my favorite utility/survival knife and a testament to all things Busse. :thumbup:
