Oh, wait, I bought a 12 inch Ang Khola and some kind of $25 Kershaw this year for myself. The Ang Khola is my favorite.

small fixed blades: Krein PSK and Boker/Krein PSK, a real joy to hold and use in hand
small folder: Grayman Dua- regular edc, only small traces left of working edge, as it has been routinely used and sharpened; unbelievably buttery smooth, yet solid lock-up and DLC still holding up very well.
catch and release: Kershaw Tilt, got a used one just to get a feel for it in hand- awesome; will now wait patiently for my pre-orders of it to be filled in the next batch (fingers crossed)
Honorable mentions: Spyderco Native 5 and Krein Alpha Frame-lock

I had a great year of trades and purchases making several new friends along the way. My favorite knife has to be my Original Bushblade by Rick Marchand, it was on my wish list for quiet some time and it is everything I expected. My Basic 10 with choil is a close second.
