naming a knife.... help

How about "Kestrel" . Those little raptors are cool like that knife.

Crow's Beak. It looks like one turned upside-down.

Hellgrammite. Cuz it's cool as one of those freaky little creatsters.

"Kleinmesser" - little knife in German
California Toothpick
Sticker

I really like that thing.

Well I was gonna say call it a K.U.K. (Koyote's Utility Knife) but I think kestrel suits it well, kinda gives you an image of small but swift and deadly. That slim finn is a nice little knife too.

Christof, how about a 4’’, “Phat” version, of that SlimJim?

It just might be the perfect companion to piggypack with my 8” “Alaskan” style Koyote Camp Knife.

Call it Muadib.

The refence is from the 1960's Frank Herber sci-fi books/series called Dune.

In this fiction, its meant to be a small mouse that knows the ways of the wilderness.

It knows when to hide form the hot sun and when to come out to look for food in the dark. It is small, wise, and not easly tricked.

Its the shadow of the man in the moon. :)

PS if you ever what to read a cool account of nature, conservation, and what can happen if these are missmanged for personal gain, read Dune.

Herbert’s Dune trilogy is a must read,

…plenty of wilderness and survival implications to consider.

When it comes to sci-fi, the Duna sage rates right up there with some of Robert Heinlein’s best work.
