I've had the Nano Oil for about a month now and couldn't be more happier. I'm always on the hunt for the newest, latest & best oil/lube for my knives (mainly for pivot).
I was currently using some FP-10 which is great but I wanted to see if I could find something better. I can now honestly say I have. The Nano Oil is a bit pricey, but I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for.
This stuff is amazing! It's like freaking magic! No messy runny oil. No dirt & lint crap. I'm impressed.
I can now tighten any folders with slight blade play and still have buttery smooth action. That right there is worth it's weight in gold. I also did a side by side with 2 Tenacious knives after taking them both apart and
cleaning. I used FP-10 and Nano Oil. They both work well but the Nano Oil compared to the FP-10 was way smoother!
I also used less Nano Oil as well.

Just wanted to share my findings and enthusiasm for this product. I can now easily say, the search is over! (At least for now, lol)

Edit: Obviously any oil is better than none, and most premium oils do a better job than what is needed but this stuff is just ba* a**!

Thank you. I really appreciate the share.

I just ordered a small tube, (not cheap) I will update when I test it out.

From the research I've done online. The company states that it will def. last months and even years. In fact they say that the only way to completely remove the Nano Oil is to sand it off! That's just nuts!
I've only used 1 drop (large drop equal to about 2 normal drops) on my ZT 0550 (first knife I've used it on originally) and have not added any since. It's been a month or so since being applied. Still just as smooth! For me one of the big hell yeahs! has been the reduction of pocket lint crapola. I can't stand a linty dirty knife. I can deal with a dirty blade but just hate all the inner gunk!

Man thanks now I have to go and pick me some up lol..... hahaha

How would you rate this against Chris Reeve fluorinated grease??? Just plan on using this on some ZT

I've been happily using Nano Oil for about a year now. Every knife I've applied it to has gotten noticeably smoother.
I like the needle applicator too, makes it easy to apply to hard to reach places (like putting a drop in the hole for the detent ball)
Great product!

I have a tube of Chris Reeve FG and also Finishline Extreme Fluoro Grease. Both are awesome with the CRFG edging out the FL Fluoro grease. Now compared to the Nano Oil, I still easily give the nod to the Nano Oil. It just works, and it works extremely well! You will not be disappointed.

You can get it straight from the dealer. Just google Nano Oil. I don't think I can post links so don't want to break any rules.

His name is Christian. A very cool and honest dude. Wish more company owners where like this guy.

I have the 10 weight. It's whats recomended. Also, I read that the 5 weight is good for old stubborn bolts and getting them loose.
I've read that you can also mix the weights to make your own custom weight.

It's the Lamborghini of oils! Lol

I've been using it for a while now and I love it. I have a tube of the heavy weight and a tube of the medium, I use them on different types of knives depending on the feel I want. A little goes a long way, so it may seem pricey but they last forever!

Another Nano Oil fan here. I've had a small needle bottle of the 10 wt. for years---it's done a whole lot of knives and flashlights, and I've still got about 1/3 of the bottle left!

I wonder how good this oil would be for guns?

I was reading about Nano Oil quite awhile back and a number of people said they liked it for their guns. Unfortunately, I can't remember where I was doing the reading. I do remember they liked it because in dustier conditions, the Nano Oil did not attract so much dust and dirt. They were talking about how it would have been great for the M1 Garands in many of the conditions they were used (hot dusty, sandy, cold frozen). I use it on all of my guns, including my Garand and it seems to be working very well. Actions seem smooth and remain clean. I will admit that I don't shoot all that much so I'm really not qualified to say how it would work for others. I bought mine from one of the popular internet Spyderco dealers here. Mike

Thank you big time for the response man going to pick me some up. If you only had 2-3 knifes to use it on how big of a bottle would you recommend. Hate to buy a bunch that I will almost never use but then hate to buy a bottle way way to small lol.

I'm considering picking some up for my Umnumzaan, however the info on the Nano Oil website says that the oil adheres to microscopic crevices and actually penetrates metals so I am a little worried that this stuff might discolor the titanium. Has anyone had any issues with discoloration?

It shouldn't discolor the metal more than any other oil. The scale of particle size we're talking about here is smaller than light's wavelength.
