Keep those kegs a coming . At least its not too hot out so it will cool down fast . He has got the right idea and perhaps it is time for a cool brew instead of a hot head . Ahh I can feel those sweet chilled draft suds just a chillin my fever . Just enough bite to make it interesting . Mayhaps a game of pool or some darts . ........... Whoa its not even breakfast time here in the great white North .

I solemnly swear to not go back to that unraveling thread or mention it again in exchange for one pint of the perfect beer . What is the perfect beer ? Well that is up to you . Lets create our own little Cantina bar . We could call it the Oasis . Fill it full of whatever you like .Even video games if you must . (Headphones supplied by management .) All attitudes stop at the door . Ballpeen hammer on duty . L:O:L

P:S: Sorry about the extra S in the Nasty title . I can,t seem to edit it out .
It must be too Nasssty for the editing machine . Its been Nastified .L:O:L

The perfect beer, right now, for me, would be one I was spilling down my shirt while singing Irish drinking songs with you gentlemen. (By the way no pale ass American pseudo beer solution counts.) A guy's gotta have standards, and I don't ever risk throwing up Budwiser.

Someone has the power to edit titles...but not me.

Instead...I'll start stocking the bar.

For Bill first, followed by some favorites.

Heineken
Bass Pale Ale
Wicked Bastard
Fosters Lager
Tsing Tao
New Castle Brown
Amstel Light
Grolsch
Harp
Peroni
Sapporo
Dos Equis
Modela Negra
Sam Adams Honey Porter

Also a must have in the Cantina...Vernor's Ginger Ale and Captain Morgan Spiced Rum...they get mixed in a tall glass with ice at a 50/50 ratio. Tastes just like old fashioned Cream Soda.

Could I get a six of each of the above to go?

How about some:
Shiner Bock
Beck's Dark
Anyone have a favorite IPA

Ah, no worries then. Good list Nasty. I'd like to see Anchor Steam on there too, and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. MMMMM.

Hey...hey...hey! I'll add it all to the stock list, but if it doesn't move, the guy asking for it will be committed to drinking the entire case.

Now thats a thinly veiled threat I can live with. I wish my wife threatened me thusly. You know you'd never let me drink a whole case of those while just watching. Or maybe you would. No problem here.

Speaking of thinly veiled threats ? What about the barmaids ?
Nothing too raunchy . Just some tastefully but barely clad buxom maidens .
What ? Nothing for the Ladies among us ? What about Nasty wearing nothing but a Kilt ?
It all depends on how high the bar stools are going to be .

I'm all for thinly veiled (or shirted) barmaids ... but Nasty's simply got to wear more than a kilt.

I hope you mean keg;) Many an Irish man is willing to part with a few teeth in the argument that ALL TRUE Guinness is slow poured from the tap;) I drink it from the bottle at home. I don't go to bars that don't pour it from the tap. I tip well at the places that take several minutes to slow pour my Guinness.

Four times in the last seven years my gf, her daughter and a niece or nephew hit the road for a loop trip through oregon. Three weeks on the open road in a honda accord. Along the way we stay at campgrounds or hotels and sample the various microbrew offerings.

Some of the best:
Deschutes brewing in Bend- Mirror Pond pale or Black Butte Porter

Pelican brewing in Pacific City-Tsunami stout (prettiest little pub with outdoor seating on the beach)

Bighorn Brewing in Salem- Buttface ale

My all time favorite is Double Eagle Imperial Stout from Wild River brewing in Grant's Pass.

Last year the gf didn't have a job and money was tight. This year she just got a job and won't be able to take the time off from work.

I'm familiar with the Deschutes and Pelican...good stuff!

You have to love a beer named " Butt Face "

It kinda adds a little elegance to the term " Lets all go get Butt Faced ! "

I,ve never gone the microbrewery route . I don,t think I,d make it back home. I think there are a few on one Street in Montreal . One has this huge copper pot contraption in the window . I,ve always been afraid to go in because I wouldn,t want to leave .

You guys drink. I'll take first watch. Have a blurry day, and I'll watch the weapons for you.

Beer's a mixed memory I left in the Cursed FEMA Trailer. That nifty tin box went off to New Orleans, for another lost soul to suffer in.

I don't miss it, but I can tell you Guinness has so much nutrition it's probably the original Instant Breakfast.

Get some Macallan whisky and I'm on board.
