Never understood this. It's not more expensive to ship to AK or HI from anywhere in the US.

navman , just picked up the new "puukko". Really like what you did with this pattern. Perfect size for use in the kitchen or around the home and property.

Excellent feel in hand. (No surprise there.)

And the leather really works well with this knife.

I can’t wait to get it myself. It’s taking shape now. Still needs handle and I think heat treat. So I have a little ways to go. But it’s definitely going quicker than I was expecting which is awesome.

There aren't many .makers where I'd like to play with everything that they make but Josh's work creates that want for me......Damn fine craftsman in.multiple disciplines

I think what I appreciate the most about Josh's work is that it has the human touch. By that I mean that it doesn't have that cold look of perfection as if it just came off a CNC machine, or an assembly line.

Instead, his work carries the marks of an artisan working at his craft, including the little signs of "character" left in the process and wake of the build.

There is a place for each in a collection of knives, in my opinion, but in this case I feel like I get a little bit of Josh's soul in each of his knives and sheaths...(and maybe even a little blood. )

Thank ya. I’m really looking forward to it. I’ll be getting some other knives in the meantime to tide me over. But I’m mainly focused on Navman’s creation
