Neck Knife Criticism - Whittle Woe

Yep, the pin placement could be better but a little difficult with all the angles going on. I SHOULD TALK. I basically love the knife. I too wondered how comfortable the angles would be for long use. How about making an identical one with a more rounded handle for us to compare.

I'm already finishing up another experimental one right now, but it's got the angled facet thing going on too. When I get back in town early July, I'll make one with a rounded handle and see how it works.

Sheath Question:

What do you all think about wooden sheaths? I've been using them for kitchen knives, but they probably wouldn't be suitable for other scenarios I'm guessing.

I have some kydex sheaths made for these, but just a thought to consider in the future.

I like it. Having said that, however, I find that my own personal neck knives are getting smaller and smaller, everytime I make one. That one seems a bit big, but still very nice.

I think that's a pretty sexy little blade. I like it! The hard angles look good to me. Little more thickness in the tip, maybe a more hard use handle material like micarta or something, and I would have to have it. Great job.

I think it's great!
Love the angles on the handle - as long as they are not uncomfortable in the hand, it's a winner. They match the profile very nicely.
