Neck Knife For Under $50

That's the place where I think my order was taken. I don't believe that they ever did answer me as to why they are continuing to show orders available for this item when they know it is on backorder and likely to not be available in the future.

All the 30$ ones are on back order. If you keep looking you should be able to find one for around 60$
Knife outlet has them in stock for around 35$

I have (and neck carry) a Ka-Bar BK11 (aka Becker Necker) and couldn't be more happy with it.
That said, I still plan to buy an Izula. I think I'm going to end up liking the blade on the Izula a bit more, but the handle I'm not so sure about.

As far as the Dogfish goes, that... I've read some bad things about CRKT's sheath for it.
If I were fond of that design, I'd drop the extra $75 and get one from Tom Krein himself.

I see you made your choice, but since nobody else mentioned the AG Russell Woodswalker, I thought I would throw that in the mix....

Ka-Bar TDI LDK (Last Ditch Knife) can often be found for less than $20.

+1 on the ldk

I have one of these too. Nice knife, and stays put. As in it doesnt fall out of the sheath on its own.

The Buck #151 Kaala is a nice knife - a bit large - 6.7" OAL; 3.1" blade - weight ~2 oz, Nice blade - S30V - just too big. Don't wrap the handle as shown - it blocks the front hole where the sheath snaps. Oh, it holds for a while - then, unexpectedly, it drops under your shirt. As delivered, it is secure. They run $52-$60.

I thought a friend headed overseas could use it, so mine didn't last long. If I still had it, I might just put some nice scales on it and make it a regular fixed blade.

Im currently looking at a new neck knife (inspired by this thread). Ive narrowed it down to the following...

CRKT Minimalist (like the look of this one)
Spyderco Swick
CRKT N.E.C.K.

It will be carried as a true neck knife. I know I need to purchase a sheath separately for the Swick. I like the Wharncliff of the first two. I threw the last in for contrast.

Any practical experience would be appreciated.
