Dunno guys , this is why personally I do not like the idea of having a razor sharp piece of steel with a sharp point right under my neck , next to my heart , veins , heart , esophagus etc etc....:D
Yeah thats kinda how i feel about it too.
The only knives i've ever carried around my neck are a Leatherman Micra or sometimes a SAK.

If the knife is short enough some kind of horizontal belt carry makes more sense to me. I've casually tried that with the Mora Clipper and it seems to work.
I'm thinking i'd like to try a horizontal kydex sheath sometime for my Mora 2000.

I have had this knive several months, had the same problem. I used a small plastic wire-tie (3 inches) on the sheath, not a single problem since. This is a durable, long-term, cheap solution. The new knives have a re-designed sheath.

Buck has an improved version of the Hartsook sheath. Call them, they will send you a replacement for free. Solves the issue for me.

I just called Buck and they are getting the new sheath in the mail today, according to the customer relations woman I talked to.
