Just finished sharpening my cutting knife and making the worlds ugliest kydex sheath for it

Im bringing like 5 knives in varying stage of final finish, belts for whoever uses 2X42, a big cocobolo board i dont want, some kaowool, a bag lunch :) , beer, my supah-magnets to see if anyone can pull them apart and my camera to catch pics of drunken knifemakers.

Heres the ugly bastard knife i made for the cutting comp. I managed to burn a nice hole in the palm of my hand doing the kydex, so it will be a painful chopping session this weekend....

we go by the ABS regs :) looks like a good gripping cutter..
 
Yeppers. 15" OAL, 5 inch handle. I wish i had taken the grind all the way up, but I was lazy and had 3 days of afternoons to finish it. Its rough as rough gets! Neoprene handles are so grippy...almost too grippy. Hope its edge holds given the rush job I did, haha!
 
man IG that food sounds good. and its gonna be nice to have that warm cacoila for the the cool weather we might get.
IG remind me i'll bring a few pounds of my home grown beef encase any of those guys need some burgers, can't handle a little octopus huh?

My son is hoping that nobody eats the octopus or we have allot of leftovers. He loves it with fresh Portagee buns, just like being in heaven. HEHEHEHEHE!!!
 
Fresh Portugese buns? Im not even gonna touch that comment....someone else will have something funnier to say. haha!

You may have to walk a couple of blocks after parking. Shouldn't be a big deal.:D
