Need advise ASAP

Hello all, I'm new to the forums and my experience here thus far has been outstanding. Right now I am in a major bind with an online store. I placed (and PAID) an order with a site. It was for a Bradley Alias I. I contacted the proprietor several times about the status of my order and his responses were that he had some coming in this week and this and that blah blah blah. It has since been a month and still no knife. I asked him to refund my money about 4 days ago. He told me that it would take 24 - 48 hours for it to show up in my account. It STILL has not shown up in my account. Sorry for the rant but my question to anyone who has a solid answer would be... Is there a way that I can MAKE this guy refund my money. I'm tired of dealing with him. Anyone with legal experience or knowhow, please respond.
 
Contact both, although you will likely end up dealing with the card company. Contact them immediately, although they may make you wait a few weeks to act.

IF -IF - the vendor promised to deliver the knife by U.S.P.S., there is a potential federal felony present. Anyone who takes payment by U.S.P.S. or promises delivery by U.S.P.S. as part of a scheme to defraud commits mail fraud, a felony under federal law. Proof would require showing an intent not to deliver, not just breach of promise, but a contact by U.S. Postal Inspectors remarkably focuses the concentration of shaddy dealers.

Do contact your card issuer ASAP as advised.
 
Thanks for the replys guys, much appreciated. After some research through these wonderful forums, I found out all about this infamous person/site. The name of this site would be Great Knives Great Prices. I was horrified when I read the stories of fellow members. In all honesty, does it look like I will get my money back? It was $200. I really do not want to have to take this to a small claims court....
 
Thanks G. BTW, I placed this order on October 10th. Gathering all of the information from the whole thread on Andrew, Im guessing that the CC company will have no problem refunding my money.
 
if you used paypal, file a dispute. if not, go through your cc company. be sure to note the time period in which you can file. (pp=45 days, cc=90days????)

Thanks everyone for the responses. I talked to my bank and in my case they will refund my money within 10 buisness days and then take it up with Mr. Kunz himself. I'm guessing that is not a good thing for Andrew. I also filed a report with the IC3 and the BBB. This dude is the ultimate dickhead and I hope he gets shut down. Thanks again everyone!
