Need help choosing a knife for work

there are actually alot of cool "higher end" boxcutter type knives. I want one of the TUKK mini keychain exactos so bad but they are never in stock.

They got the Rexford RUT an its various knockoffs. One of the knockoffs was literally kickstartered so they could make a clone of the RUT.

Of course if you are an ulti level 6 pimp you could get the Spectrum Energetics midtech folding box cutter.

Damn they released their first real knife too, it looks badass. Spectrum Energetics Howitzer. It looks like its lock is sort of like the scorpion lock.

To the OP, in my very limited experience, most knives over $30-40 seem to be jewelry. They are very functional jewelry, but generally you can get the same basic "tool" functionality of a $120 knife, or even a $200 knife with a $30 purchase.

I think many of the posters here are encouraging you to not use your jewelry for hard work. I would agree, especially if the money you spent on it is significant to you.

Spyderco Delica in ZDP-189. Holds an edge well and will last. I wouldn't worry about the wave feature. It's neat, but not necessary. The blade deploys plenty quick with the thumb hole.
