Need Help With Handle Design - Scandi Necker

I like the idea of a leather wrap. Lets face it, paracord wraps are done so often and one of your angles is the scandi as a more unique attribute. Leather wrap it with a good piece of leather thong. It will compliment the scandi/traditional aesthetic and leather really does feel nice. The user will eventually have to replace the cord, but I'd say go with the visuals (thats what sells knives anyhow ;)).

I wouldn't epoxy the leather or anything. Just give it a good boot wax treatment to keep it looking shiny and nice.
