i was able to find the exact style pouch i wanted and in the price range too at http://www.leathersmithdesigns.com/

i ordered the medium leather belt pouch in brown. looks like exactly what i'm looking for. the only thing now is that i have to wait 14 days for it to be made and then shipped to me
