Need most durable spydy possible

The only one I can comment on is my Endura. I have carried it 14+ years now, it has held up very well. It cuts when I need it to, but you have to do your part and keep it sharp. :)

I would also like to add a new Model: The C-83 Full size Persian. It is a very nice looking knife, classy and all, but for a lock back, it is really strong. And the blade grind makes it one of the sharpiest of them all..... SS and Micarta has proven their longivity......

And you get a d*** good looking knife:cool:

Cutting rope, nylon, Lots of cardboard, Wood sticks, and hacking at trees for camping hunting and such. Working or my car, wire stripping cutting rubber and plastic and wires. Food preparing. But the biggest concern is a lock having zero play after use for hacking and the veryhardest pressure for cutting. Dont want the blade to dull easily either. Best steel i can think of is S30V. What do you think. Open to other companies such as benchmade kershaw. No gerber thankyou. Preferably axis lock, liner lock or compression lock. I would consider a lock back by spyderco if it were jsut as strong wich most are, But im very concerned with the blade play

I tested (fairly heavy :) ) my Mini Manix, and in collaboration with one of our site member at survival.hu I wrote an article about Manixes.
I think the pictures tells everything about "massivity". :D

The D'Allara also a great workhorse, and the BB lock is a great idea IMO.

hows the blade play on it, Im gonna buy one if its not an issue, BUT EVERY spyderco lockback i have owned had significant blade play.

Any folder can be broke. Some people can tear up anything. That is the way I answer this post. I farm and use a knife to cut many things, but I do not try to use them as a pry bar. They were not made for that.

....... The more I use my milie, the more impressed I become with the milie.Andy

Me too - mine has been plenty tough enough for my needs. My old 440C one is still going strong also.

Otherwise Manix and let's not forget the D'Allara.

I have had a serrated "POLICE" model for years and have used & used this knife for everything. It is still sharp and tight and just looks like a well used EDC. Give one a look....

Almost every Manix has some, small VERTICAL blade play. I found that after I purchased my Manix from newgraham. BTW, kudos to negraham as they promptly agreed to replace or refund my purchase.
