Need some assistance drawing a template

J. All the 'chefs' knives I see have a slight curve almost the entire edge. This enables a rocking motion when used on the cutting board.

thanks kwakn, I actually made a different thread with updated drawings, this one is old. But I got that a lot lol, I have since fixed it, actually working on it now. I will post a WIP thread soon

the tutorials are a good guideline... they give you all the basic tools... using the little house icons at the top will help with a snap to view... starting in the top view will give you a 2d board to start drawing with and if you rotate it or move it to get a better look at something then you can click back on the top view button and go right back to that flat view... also holding the arrow keys will help to control the direction your lines are going when they try to go all goofy on you... going into the model info in the window menu will give you access to the units used... so you can change the measurement values used from metric to standard and enable snap-to dimensions down to .01" so if you want to keep everything to 1/4" just enable snap to of .25" and every dimension will snap to the nearest 1/4"... same with angular dimensions... you can use the protractor feature to find precise angles... or if you want you can snap to 15 degrees... so every angle will be a multiple of 15 degrees... your measurements show up in the lower left corner, or you can use the tape measure to pre measure along the length of something to make a gauge and draw a line to that...

if you have any questions post em up and i'll see what i can do to help you...
