Need some help or guidance.

Been here in NH since 1972. Never have I seen a Roast duck fly, certainly not into someone's mouth!!!:D

I am certain that means something, what exactly, I haven't a clue. Must be lawyer-speak:p

Back to my point; if the package is addressed to Marvin Garden but shipped to Harvey Geselman ( My dead uncle, I hated the guy) at Harvey's home address AND harvey knows the item belongs to marvin, is not his (Harvey) but decides Marvin is not getting his lawful property. Is that not a crime in any of our 50 States? Mind you I am not a lawyer but did watch CSI once...............

So Seller should make buyer whole, get in touch with Harvey via Certified mail demanding his property be returned and if not go to the nearest Police station and report the theft. If the Cops are not lazy they will do their jobs, if not they will blah, blah, blah it is a civil matter file in small claims blah blah blah.

Then go find a Roasted duck but don't ask me what the heck to do with it!!!!!

Miknuyh, offering to pay half of the fee for redirecting the mail was going above and beyond.
Seems like it's out of your hands now and the responsibility of the buyer to straighten this out on his end with the USPS and possibly law enforcement.

If you had shipped to an address that wasn't on the PayPal invoice, you'd be responsible for the potential loss.

My guess, the tenants at the buyer's old address have stolen the knife. But how to prove it? All they have to say is, "No such package ever arrived in our mail."

Confucius say, "Man who stand on hill with mouth open will wait long time for roast duck to drop in."

No, he said "man who keep knife not belong to him deserves 2x4 across top of head"

and "man who use paypal gift option for non-gift transaction is man who deserve foot to side of head"

and "man who go to bed with itchy bu** wakes up with smelly fingers"

miknuh you are on my do business list for how you are handling this with compassion and integrity.I hope all sellers take a note on how you do business.karms is on youre side things will turn.out right.
