edit: the trade went through just fine. I would reccomennd aceman! For everyone saying it was premature,agressive,etc. You might as well have not posted at all because I had concerns and I don't need people saying I'll damage my rep.. Please..

Hey guys, I recently got in a trade with a gold member here named Aceman. The trade was my orange military and leatherman micra for his kershaw volt blem. We exchanged addresses and agreed to send the knives out on monday (8/23). I did and sent him an email and he didn't respond. I sent him another one to confirm that he got that email and he still didn't respond.

Has anyone dealt with this guy? He has good feedback, but hasn't responded to me at all in two days.

Did he send it out next day? Otherwise, it may be just a bit too soon to expect the package, after only 2 days.
 
Yeah I would give it a few more days...he may be working...family emergency...or simply just hasn't logged on to the internet. Different shipping methods also get you different results. I am in the middle of a trade now. The guy will get my knife tomorrow, and I'll get his Friday, even though I sent a day later. The difference? I sent USPS Priority, he sent UPS Ground.
 
Last Activity: Yesterday 10:56 PM was his last log in.... he has good feed back, I would think everything will be ok.....
 
I would agree that those are all possibilities,its the lack of ommunication that is bothering me. We both agreed on usps priority. I'll be giving it some more time.

I just got an email from him stating he shipped it Monday as well, this is just a case where communication was lacking. We'll see if it gets here tomorrow!
 
I dont know, maybe its just me but I think posting in GB&U now is premature and a little aggressive in action IMHO, Things take time, what one post office does to deliver a package may differ from your postal office, or maybe your Joseph Postman is slow

I still say at this juncture of your sale, this is all premature, and unfairly puts your trading partner in the spotlight, people just cant be at their computers all the time. Try to be patient, if the knife is not what you wanted then you have a problem, in the meantime you only damage your rep. IMHO
 
Heiheit has edited the first post in this thread to indicate it all worked out. (Nobody would have noticed that if I hadn't posted; nobody ever looks at old posts to see if they've been edited.)
