Hay I know you guys like your Scotch and liquor but what about cigars? I dont smoke cigarettes but I do like a cigar every once and again and I would like to know what is a good cigar?

Lately, I've been enjoying Fonsecas. They're decent, mild Dominican cigars.

When I want my tobacco to pack a wallop, I load a pipe with a rich Cavendish or some such.

I no longer partake of the evil weed, but if I was offered a fine cigar I might puff at it.

Tobacco
is a weed. (the evil weed)

I would sooner smoke the "wacky tobaccy" than smoke another cigarette. I currently don't smoke anything.

I don't really inhale cigar smoke, so I don't think that is quite as bad. (haven't smoked any cigars for quite a while)

Ashtons are great if you don't smoke very often, or you're not an avid smoker. They're lighter than many other high end smokes.

Yes I dont smoke very often at all, casually maybe once or twice a week and usually with my drink (Glenlivet). But I am ignorant to what is a good cigar so thanks for some of the ideas.

Walking Man knows nothing about cigars....
And he hopes his wife quits smoking soon! (That's what he asked for his upcoming birthday present in August, but she was supposed to quit smoking before they were married almost 2 years ago. :( )

Sometimes I will splurge and buy some of those fancy peach flavored gourmet cigars from the gas station :p
Are those better than the "Backwoods" hand-shaped cigars?

I prefer the "bubblegum" brand...Of course cut up into single servings with some sharp INFI:D

I tried a cameroon, is it supposed to make you want scotch? Cuz darn you kinda want scotch after that taste is on your tongue(not that its bad just makes me want scotch)

There is a cigar that is made with pipe tobacco. Probably my favorite smelling smoke.

really? where do you get pipe tobacco?
Any tobacco shop in your area.

I like these folks for tinned tobacco, and they have some good deals on pipes usually. Guy and Jackie will take care of you on the pipe front. http://www.affordablepipes.com/

Also check out some of Frenchy's estate pipes some time. He's a good guy and a hoot to boot. http://www.frenchyspipes.com/

Have bought a couple of nice pipes from him, including my current favorite, a W.O. Larsen Rustic.
